Facilities
Outdoors
There are eight large yards to allow dogs to be play-matched based on:
- Age/Health
- Temperament
- Social skills
- Size
Yards are monitored for behaviour and maintained for cleanliness.
Indoors
Hygiene, safety and comfort are the three critical guidelines for our indoor accommodations. Individual sleep areas are spacious and clean. Dogs are placed with attention to their behaviour with other dogs. (Dogs who don’t care for each others’ company are not placed side-by-side.)
Indoor facilities are designed to maximize air flow/fresh air and are heated during winter months.
Staff
We hire “dog-people”.
Staff are selected with attention to
- prior training (i.e. college courses in animal care and behaviour)
- prior experience
- ability to manage and work with dogs in a variety of social situations
Sue personally trains and mentors all staff to ensure the highest quality care for your furry family member.
